2003:
A very succesfull international fair

Whit the participation of more than one thousand international
buyers, the presence of 10.000 national visitors, investors
and buyers and businesses for more than US$12 million ends
the most important fashion fair in Colombia: Colombiamoda 2003.
The executive director of Inexmoda, Roque Ospina, says in press
conference that Colombiamoda continues to be the perfect scenario
for the textile-apparel sector to make business. Also, he said
that Colombiamoda helps the growth of the sector generating jobs
and an important business environment.
This year 380 exhibitors participated in Colombiamoda and had
the opportunity to make significant contacts, that will translate,
into important business opportunities for the country this next
few months.
On the other hand, Roque Ospina, announced that the President
of Proexport, Luis Guillermo Plata, will lead a mission from
the 29th of August to September 1st to Japan and India, with
the purpose to convince Asian industrialists to build a plant
in Colombia and invest in the country this way.
