Financial trouble for Farc

The Minister of Defense, Juan Manuel Santos, assured that Farc is on a financial decline due to the fact that they can no longer operate their drug trafficking business like they did 10 years ago.

"Since the late nineties, Farc monopolized this lucrative crime but, throughout most of the country, they have lost their ability to crystallize and produce cocaine hydrochloride", Santos said during a speech about money-laundering.

The Minister added that Military Forces manage this information based on testimonies from demobilized members of the illegal armed group.
