The Oro Verde (Green Gold) Corporation, which supports the production of gold in the department of Chocó with a strict attitude of respect for the environment and with fair wages paid to miners, is among the 12 finalists in the global competition promoted by BBC of London, Newsweek magazine and Shell.
700 projects and small businesses from all over the world participated in World Challenge 2008, which aims to find the ones that show the most enterprise and innovation.
