Diego Fernando Murillo Bejarano, alias "Don Berna", decided to plead guilty before having to serve an 80 year sentence in a prison in the United States.
The former paramilitary accepted the charges of drug trafficking imputed by the authorities in the United States on May 15th 2008, two days after being extradited along with 13 other demobilized paramilitaries.
The Judge has not established yet a date for the audience in which he will be sentenced. Nevertheless the lawyers of "Don Berna" stated that he could face a prison term of 27 to 33 years for his crimes.
